Services

amotIQ's service offering is based on many years of experience implementing and operating ERP systems in the manufacturing environment. We have detailed knowledge of the implementation process gained in projects involving local operations like Tesla Jihlava, international projects like Mokov, Novatec, AKT and global projects like TRW, MAGNA, DCX and HYUNDAI.

In the Czech Republic, implementations are often associated with business process re-engineering. Before we can implement a “best practise” ERP package the client wants to change/fine-tune the organisation. In addition many clients require our financial expertise in setting up their Czech operations in terms of their consolidated financial systems.

As a result our company offers services in the following areas:

1.1 Pre-implementation phase - covers services like ERP audit - The focus of this service is to asses the customer's current ERP system in terms of meeting his business objectives. This service is relevant in situations when the customer considers to replace the current system, the management has recently been replaced or if additional organizational changes have been adopted. The objective of the service is to provide management with an independent view and sufficient information to support the next steps and decisions.

1.2 Implementation phase - we understand the implementation of a new system as a critical initiative reaching all levels of the organization and we do differentiate 3 basic situations:

a) The customer is replacing the current system and its objective is to have at least the same functionality but with a different application package or technology. Typical examples are installations with obsolete technologies or installations done by small local software houses which are not able to meet the customer's requirements anymore - this situation is covered by the implementation service ERP rapid.

b) The customer wants to implement a new system to improve the company's overall business results. A typical example is a customer facing competitive pressure usually from foreign companies. By implementing a new ERP system based on “best practise” processes, management expects an improvement of business results and key performance indicators – here we recommend SOLF a methodology developed by amotIQ and based on:

The Information Paradox – realizing the business benefits of information technology

In order to provide the customers with a solution that is meeting the customers requirements within time and budget.

c) The Customer wants to implement a new system based on its customer's specific requirements. Typical example is an automotive supplier which is often focused to fulfil its OEM customers' standards. In terms of minimal requirements the new ERP system has to manage Lots, support cumulative numbers, release management, EDI messaging, ASN, etc. In this case the requirements are basically being dictated externally and a customer considers the implementation to be successful - in case that the new implementation meets these external requirements. For T0.5, T1 and T2 automotive suppliers we have developed a rapid implementation methodology - ERP automotive.

1.3 Post-implementation phase - amotIQ offers different services to support the customer go live. One of the basic services in this area supports the financial department going live in the Czech Republic - FI live. This seems to be a service required by customers who have issues consolidating their Czech subsidiaries. Another relevant service for smaller or newly established firms is the pre audit - service - this service provides the customer with post implementation support.
